ARTIST TALK with JESSICA DRENK

Drenk will be discussing her two installations, Cerebellum and Bibliophylum, featured in Aqua’s Hotel Lobby. The pieces demonstrate the artist’s facility with transforming mundane objects (in this case- books & wax) into enigmatic forms that challenge our perceptions of nature and culture as ‘separate’ paradigms. INSTALLATION by ADAD HANNAH & filmmaker DENYS ARCAND

Originally initiated by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts for their new Canadian Pavilion, this collaborative project encompasses photography and video inspired by the early XXth Century Viennese play La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler. Courtesy Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain, Room 224

INSTALLATION by WILL WILSON of Navajo Nation

Through a partnership of New Mexico Arts and the Urban Paradise Guild (UPG) of South Florida, artist Will Wilson from Navajo Nation will guide over 60 local art students to create an art installation at the Fairchild Botanical Gardens in South Florida and at Aqua Art Miami, using Australian Pine -- a plant “invading” native habitat all over South Florida, including the Everglades.
